Andy Smith from Scotland arrived in Zihuatanejo in 1995 and is a former Tennis Professional turned Real Estate Agent / Development Consultant. Andy has now lived and worked in Zihuatanejo for 30 years and is proud to call “Zihua” his home.

Real Estate

With 30 years local Real Estate experience, Andy specializes in guiding foreign buyers and
sellers through the entire purchase and sale process with a hand-held personal approach from property viewing to title deed closing.

Tennis Professional

As a part of the Scottish National Tennis Team, Andy represented Scotland and played professionally for 2 years before passing on his expertise as a Tennis Pro at Luxury Hotels & Resorts.

Education

Andy has a Sports & Business Management degree, having been selected for a Tennis and Sports Management Scholarship with Arsenal Football Club, London, UK.

Finance

Andy’s continued education included the finance industries Canadian Securities Course, working as a Bond Broker with Cantor Fitzgerald, as well as TD Waterhouse and TD Wealth Management on Bay Street, Toronto, Canada.

Cornell University

As further education to assist his Hotel & Real Estate Developers, Andy studied Hotel Real Estate & Asset Management and Hotel Revenue Management with Cornell University.
